The Salus Gladstone project was Ottawa Salus Corporations’ first, supportive housing apartment development and one of the first affordable housing projects in Ottawa to introduce heat recovery ventilation. This project incorporated many other “Healthy Housing” emerging technologies to improve air quality, resource efficiency, and occupant health including low-emissivity glass, in-floor radiant heat, high performance insulation, low VOC finishes and materials with a low lifecycle cost.
