CCOC 240 Presland Road
After a fire in the previous 32-unit, CCHC owned-and-operated affordable housing property, tenants were relocated and the remnants of the previous building were demolished. CCOC is proposing a 6-storey, OBC Part 3 wood-framed construction, with approximately 70 affordable housing units. The proposed project will provide a mix of unit types, at different affordable rental rates. The project is proposed to be 100% universally accessible. These targets will help to accommodate the needs of a diverse population that CCOC serves, such as families, seniors, youth, and newcomers. The building will be targeting design to the Net Zero Ready standard to maximize the building’s energy efficiency, sustainability, and resiliency. CCOC has harnessed a strong team of consultants, including Cahdco for project management and Figurr Architects Collective as the architect.
