Beaver Barracks

Acting in their capacity as CCOC’s development department, members of the Cahdco team also managed the creation of CCOC’s Beaver Barracks. With 254 homes in 5 buildings this project is a beacon of the mixed income model of affordable housing as well as home to an ambulance lay-by station and offices, including Cahdco’s old office. Beaver Barracks was designed and built with sustainability as a key priority. Among other green features, it has the largest residential geothermal system in Canada, delivering highly efficient heating, cooling and water heating to all units.
