President

Graeme Hussey is the Director of Housing Development for CCOC and President of Cahdco. He is a board director for Housing Services Corporation and former board member of the Ottawa Alliance to End Homelessness. Graeme’s educational background is in environmental engineering and project management, and he has 15 years’ experience developing and managing social enterprises in the affordable housing, social investment, and food security sectors. Graeme’s leadership has been recognized by the Maytree Foundation, Ontario Co-operative Association and Toronto Food Policy Council.

Senior Project Manager

Mark Sider is the Senior Project Manager for Cahdco. From offices in Toronto and Ottawa, Mark brings many years of architectural practice. His focus has been in the design of institutional buildings, with a strong community engagement component. Renfrew County Courthouse expansion, the Richcraft Recreation Complex, and the Sir John A MacDonald Building are examples of his design work. Mark’s other passion is International Development. He and his wife Jane, have spent six years in Malawi, Africa working in development and food security, and most recently, five years in SE Asia, as Indonesia Directors for an International NGO. Currently, they live on site as hosts for Matthew House Ottawa, a transitional home for refugee claimants. Mark is excited in bringing his two passions together at Cahdco.

Cynthia is a Project Manager at CCOC working on development projects for Cahdco clients. Cynthia has experience in land-use planning, community planning, project coordination, policy research and analysis (environmental, planning and sustainable development), and environmental management systems. As Project Manager, Cynthia has worked on an acquisition/renovation supportive housing project for women, an addition to a seniors’ mixed-income development, a study to explore the feasibility of residential options for rooming house tenants, and a new development to provide supportive housing for homeless Veterans. She is Candidate Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners.

Project Manager

Anna Froehlich is a Project Manager for Cahdco and CCOC. Anna has a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a diverse professional background in private sector development planning, municipal planning, community engagement, and international experience with the federal planning agency of Grenada. Beyond a commitment to developing affordable housing, she has a strong interest in opportunities for integrating affordability and environmental sustainability. Anna is a Registered Professional Planner and a Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and Canadian Institute of Planners.

Junior Project Manager

Kiefer Maracle is a Junior Project Manager for Cahdco and CCOC. In his role as Junior PM he is accountable for the development of affordable housing and social purpose real estate. To this role he brings his background as a Certified Associate Project Manager through the Project Management Institute as well as his education in Environmental Studies from Carleton. Over the past four years Kiefer has progressively elaborated on his experience in the affordable housing sector by seizing every opportunity to combine his passion’s for social equity, sustainability, and development.

Hadiya Al-Idrissi is Development Support for Cahdco. She has a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from Carleton University, and has experience conceptualizing projects that address sustainable housing and development. As a student, she regularly volunteered with non-profit groups to promote community building through the arts. Hadiya thoroughly believes good design and development should be accessible to everyone, regardless of socio-economic background, and that designers and developers share the responsibility to better our collective future.

Paige Waldock is Development Support for Cahdco. She graduated from Carleton University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Engineering. She was in the third graduating class from the Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering Program. Cahdco was first drawn to her attention when she learned about the Beaver Barrack’s development and its geothermal system in school. She is proud to be working in the affordable housing sector.

Jana is Development Support for Cahdco. She has an educational background in Urban Studies & Mathematics from McGill University. She has been lucky enough to have experienced a variety of educational, cultural, and professional environments, and hopes to continue to learn and grow. Jana has always been fascinated by the built environment and the profound impact it has on people’s lives. Housing, in particular, undeniably dictates our lives in more ways than one. At Cahdco, Jana continues to learn more about the affordable housing development sector, and is enjoying every minute of it.

Dennis Carr

Dennis Carr is currently the principal of DCarr Community Solutions, a development consulting firm specializing in the creation of not-for-profit affordable housing and social facilities. From 2009 to 2014, Dennis was Assistant Director of Social Infrastructure for the City of Vancouver. Prior to this he was Manager of Development and Construction for CCOC, where he helped to establish Cahdco. He has been involved in a variety of initiatives relating to housing affordability, neighbourhood revitalization and alternative investment strategies. Dennis is a LEED Accredited Professional, has a Graduate Diploma in Community Economic Development, and sits on the City of Ottawa’s Urban Panel Committee of Adjustment.

Tim Terrell

Senior Project Manager

Tim Terrell is a senior project manager and consultant for Cahdco and CCOC. He has 25 years experience in residential, development, civil, ICI commercial, institutional, construction, and project management industry. Timothy is a graduate Construction Engineering Technologist, is Gold Sealed Certified by the Canadian Construction Association as a Professional Project Manager in General Contracting since 2001, and a Professional Project Manager by PMI, since 2005. He is also a member of the Canadian Green Council, is LEED trained, and has managed several LEED buildings. His broad range of clients include: the City of Ottawa Non-Profit Housing Corporation, Minto Homes, Claridge Homes, Public Works & Government Services Canada, and Environment Canada. The cumulative budget of projects he has managed is in excess of $800 million dollars.
