Graeme Hussey

President

Graeme Hussey is the Director of Housing Development for CCOC and President of Cahdco. In these roles Graeme is responsible for the management of Cahdco and leadership of CCOC affordable housing projects and during the past 10 years has assisted in the development of more then 1,000 affordable homes. Graeme’s educational background is in environmental engineering and project management, and he has 20 years’ experience developing and managing social enterprises in the affordable housing, social investment, and food security sectors. Graeme is treasurer and board director for Housing Services Corporation and member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Green Municipal Fund (GMF) Council & Investment Committee. In these roles Graeme has supported the creation of the HSC Housing Investment Corporation (HiC) and the GMF Sustainable Affordable Housing Initiative.

Greg McPherson

Greg McPherson

Financial Analyst

Greg McPherson is a financial analyst for Cahdco and CCOC. His responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, template developments, and basic bookkeeping. Greg has his MBA from the Royal Military College of Canada and his MSc in Management Studies from the Smith School of Business. He has worked in numerous private sector organizations and is now happy to lend his support to such an impactful cause.

Project Manager

Ellen McGowan is a Project Manager for Cahdco and CCOC. She entered the housing sector in 2021 after graduating from Queen’s University with a Master of Urban and Regional Planning. She previously attended the University of Waterloo where she completed a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a specialization in land development planning. Ellen has experience in consulting, municipal and provincial planning, and academic research. She has been recognized for awards by the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planning Institute. Ellen is currently working on the CCOC Forward and Cornerstone Housing for Women projects as well as two projects in Kingston that are in feasibility. She has also worked with the Ottawa Community Land Trust (OCLT) and Ottawa Social Housing Network (OSHN).

Toolbox+ Manager

Paige Waldock is the Project manager at Cahdco in charge of the Toolbox+ program. She graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor’s of Engineering from the Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering Program. Cahdco was first drawn to her attention when she learned about the Beaver Barrack’s development and its geothermal system in school. She has been working at Cahdco on affordable housing development projects for over 5 years and has worked on a variety of projects from their initial feasibility stages all the way through to construction.

Aisha Salahdiin Ahmed is a Project Manager for Cahdco and CCOC. Aisha graduated with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering before going on to study Urban Planning at a graduate level. Through her studies at McGill University, she has become knowledgeable in urban development and land use, and competent in research and data analysis. Aisha is well versed in producing maps, graphics, and professionally written reports. After aiding in the preparation of several funding applications, Aisha has gained substantial experience in successfully constructing and completing applications for federal and municipal funding programs.

Mozhgan Milkarizi is a Development Project Coordinator for Cahdco and CCOC. Mozhgan has a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Engineering and extensive project coordination experience. After years of working, She decided to study abroad and continue her post-graduate education with studying project management. She has worked with organizations in both Iran and Canada and has more than five years’ experience in project coordination, administration, team leadership, urban planning, marketing, graphic and interior design, and business development. She always strives for learning and self-development, and she believes through sustainable urban design and housing affordability, we can transform our lives.

Vera Feng is a Development Project Coordinator for Cahdco and CCOC. Vera has a Bachelor degree in Architecture from Syracuse University. She has experience in non-profit organizations, marketing, graphic design, and architectural design. With the combination of her technical skills and creative process, Vera applies her diverse skill set to develop a full understanding of complex projects. She looks forward to learning more from her colleagues and resonates with the collaborative ethos of the development team.

Taarshi De Silva Raghaven is a Development Assistant for Cahdco and CCOC. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors in International Development and Globalization at the University of Ottawa. Through her degree Taarshi has had the opportunity to work in research, communications and marketing in the non-profit sector. In her role Taarshi supports and performs clerical, administrative and marketing tasks for Cahdco and CCOC. She will also be providing assistance to various aspects of project administration.

Luke Winspear is a Development Intern for Cahdco and CCOC. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo. He has experience working in the non-profit sector working primarily in clean energy, and has developed skills in report writing for private and federal grants. At Cahdco, Luke is focused working on the Toolbox+, a program to increase the amount of affordable housing development corporations across Canada and their capacity to create affordable housing.
