Graeme Hussey is the Director of Housing Development for CCOC and President of Cahdco. In these roles Graeme is responsible for the management of Cahdco and leadership of CCOC affordable housing projects and during the past 10 years has assisted in the development of more than 1,000 affordable homes. Graeme’s educational background is in environmental engineering and project management, and he has 20 years’ experience developing and managing social enterprises in the affordable housing, social investment, and food security sectors. Graeme is treasurer and board director for Housing Services Corporation and member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Green Municipal Fund (GMF) Council & Investment Committee. In these roles Graeme has supported the creation of the HSC Housing Investment Corporation (HiC) and the GMF Sustainable Affordable Housing Initiative.

Amy Contreras, our new Communications Officer for Cahdco and CCOC. With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and over 5 years of experience, she has made a significant impact on organizations in Honduras. Amy’s journey started in Central America, where she honed her skills in strategic communication and corporate image. Her passion for supporting development projects led her to collaborate with organizations in her home country, working toward positive change and sustainable growth. She ventured to Canada to further enrich her knowledge by pursuing her post-graduate education in project management and organizational management. Amy firmly believes that collaboration and teamwork are the foundations of success in any organization.
Cat Carkner (she/her) is a Development Project Coordinator for Cahdco and CCOC. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Social Entrepreneurship from McGill University. Prior to Cahdco, Cat worked in social impact, academic research, and higher education. In this role, Cat supports the planning, implementation, and tracking of affordable housing projects. New to the housing sector, she is excited to help create more sustainable, livable, and equitable cities.
Christine D'Silva brings a decade of expertise to Ottawa's property management landscape, collaborating seamlessly with individual landlords and leading developers. Specializing in multi-family residential rentals, she has successfully launched numerous new developments and implemented programming and amenity spaces to cultivate a sense of community. Committed to continuous improvement, Christine dedicates herself to enhancing processes and finding efficiencies for tenants, property managers, and developers. Her passion for building thriving communities and streamlining operations aligns with her mission to contribute to the creation of more affordable housing in Canada.
