CCOC and Cahdco are proud to announce that we are two of the component development partners in RendezVous LeBreton Group’s bid to the National Capital Commission for the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats. With our history as recognized leaders in affordable rental housing and our commitment to the Centretown, LeBreton Flats, Hintonburg and Dalhousie neighbourhoods, we think we’re the natural choices to ensure meaningful inclusion of affordable housing on this site.

Commitment to affordable housing

We truly believe that affordable rental housing and affordable home ownership are critical to the success of community building. We applaud the RendezVous LeBreton Group’s commitment to affordable housing in this development. As proud members of this excellent team we encourage you to watch the RendezVous demonstration below.

Mixed income, inclusive community

The LeBreton Flats site has a history as a diverse, working class neighbourhood, and it’s only fitting that its redevelopment should continue that tradition. CCOC and Cahdco have deep roots in the community, with almost 100 homes at its southern edge. We’ve got a long-term investment in creating a successful mixed income, inclusive community that meets the needs of residents and visitors alike.

Non-profit community uses

The LeBreton Flats development will bring over 4,000 new households to the area. CCOC and Cahdco have a big role to play in making sure that there is meaningful inclusion of affordable housing. We also hope to help develop other non-profit community uses that will be needed by the new residents.

Have your say!

On January 26 and 27, 2016, the National Capital Commission hosted presentations and an open house at the War MuseumAn online consultation will continue from January 26 to February 8, 2016.

Make sure you take the time to have your say on what you’d like to see on the LeBreton Flats.
